Swift Key X is a virtual keyboard alternative for Android devices that is highly customizable. One of the best features of the Android platform is the ability for users to replace any portion of the OS they don’t like including the keyboard. This isn’t the first alternative with others including the popular Swype having been available for a while but Swift Key X is by far the best. There is a dedicated app for both phone and tablets.
Tablet Features

The tablet version of the keyboard is by far the best for the platform and offers a few pretty powerful features. The first is that it’s completely skinable so you can change the color and general look of the keyboard. It also learns as you type so it gets better at predicting what your typing and fixing typos. It even figures out unorthodox keystrokes like password. Perhaps best of all is the split key feature, which lets choose how your keyboard is split across the screen. You can have letters divide on the left and right for better thumb access for example.
Phone Features

The phone version of the keyboard uses the same learning technology as the tablet version but since its optimized for a smaller screen the keyboard layouts are more traditional. When you first run the app it gives you the option to enter your log in and password for various websites so it can learn from your typing habits and better predict text.
